The whacked-out lunatic lefties ALWAYS have to have something to complain about. If they didn't, there would be absolutely no purpose in them living their miserable lives.

It seems like Canada is ahead of the United States when it comes to renewable energy sources. Maybe they don't have as many environmental groups blocking their progress. It's funny here in the U.S.A. while we may share this goal our environment groups are roadblocks when it comes progress.

Sounds like BC is a lot more progressive than some areas of Canada... Sounds familiar south of the border too.

If these run-of-the-river are economical; we should be using them on American rivers. I am not for building things that are not economically competitive on their own merits.

They're going in the WRONG direction handing over rivers to private companies and forcing the publicly owned BC Hydro to buy their product at higher prices.

We have several no dam hydroelectric turbines in our area rivers and it is cheap and efficient and also does not wreck havoc on the fish and the environment.
